Awaken Your Divine Feminine Energy
READ 3m | LISTEN 5m 30s
Are you ready to heal your feminine energy?
This is the beginning of a series on awakening our divine feminine energy.
We all have masculine and feminine energy within us regardless of the gender we identify with.
But because we live in a culture that is out of balance and heavily weighted towards masculine energy, most of us grew up learning to shut down the feminine and bring out the masculine.
Goddess practice helps guide us back to balance by healing and nourishing our Divine Feminine energy.
This is an invitation to go on a journey to wholeness by liberating unique aspects of ourselves.
As we bond with these Goddesses it will revolutionize our connection to ourselves, our life and reconnect us with the deep, wise, intuitive feminine.
Hello Lovelies ~
How are you?
Something strange has happened to me since the pandemic kicked in.
I’m wondering if any of you feel the same way.
I find myself really digging imperfection. It’s like my brain has been rewired.
At the height of the pandemic so many people walked around with their gray roots showing. This is a big deal living in Hollywood.
I loved seeing celebrities, without their glam squads, looking less done and more natural.
It’s like the world crisis gave everyone permission to relax for a minute.
Where I once was mesmerized by gloss and perfection, I now involuntarily wrinkle my nose.
Flaws that used to bug me I now lean into with wonder.
I came to this realization while making my last video on anxiety.
My top priority, when making videos, is to have fun. So when I came up with an impromptu lyric about the ups and downs of life I decided to have a music track made for it.
You can hear it at the end of the video.
When I got the final track, with my vocals mixed in, my first response was “Oh my God who is that?!”
It had been auto-tuned and produced to the point of non-recognition. The quirk that came from me not being a singer was completely gone. I hated it.
I asked the music producer to send me the track without vocals.
I added them myself and felt better with the less polished version.
This is a clip of the “produced track” and then a bit of the version I ended up doing myself.
Despite my new love of imperfection, I still have moments of falling for society’s favorite lie.
Achieve perfection and you will be happy!
The part of me who is a recovering perfectionist wanted to use the overly produced version of my song.
But when I added it to the edit my stomach would do big twirly twirls.
Tummy twirls is how my intuition tells me “Yeah NO. Absolutely not.”
My intuition knows I desire inner freedom. I don’t think you can be free without embracing imperfection. What do you think?
I like seeing the blemishes in my life as beautiful. I want to love them as much as I love the imperfections I see in my tree when I visit her.
Kind of like wabi sabi.
Have you heard of it? It’s a Japanese concept. Instead of searching for beauty in perfection, you look for it in things that are flawed and incomplete.
The thinking is, only things that are imperfect and incomplete can truly be beautiful. Because those are the only things that resemble the natural world.
I guess that’s what it’s really about. Finding ways to get back to and embrace our true nature.
Which brings me to a new series I’m starting.

Goddess Practice For Everyday Life
My latest video is an introduction to a series I’m doing on Goddess practice.
It’s inspired by a 3 month journey I went on a few years ago.
I’m feeling moved to revisit the practice so I thought I’d bring you along.
I’m going to dedicate a video to each Goddess. We’ll explore their specific attributes and unique energies that serve as archetypes.
When we tune into a deity figure, we rediscover the qualities of that goddess in ourselves.
A heads up though, some of these qualities will highlight our imperfections.
Which gives us a perfect opportunity to embrace them.
The purpose of Goddess practice is to liberate all aspects of ourselves so we can return to wholeness.
It’s believed in order to fulfill our purpose to the best of our ability we need all sides of ourselves.
I’m excited to revisit this practice.
I hope you’ll join me.
It’s time to reconnect with our source of intuition, creativity and sensuality.
It’s time to heal and nourish our Divine Feminine energy.
Until next time…
Love you,
xK
